Responsibilities:
This position reports to the AVP, Pune and is expected to work from Pune, India office.
Scrum Process Facilitation:
- Guide and coach, the Scrum team(s) on the effective use of the Scrum framework.
- Facilitate Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Ensure that the Scrum team follows the agreed-upon processes and ceremonies.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster collaboration and open communication within the team and with stakeholders.
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and priorities.
Microsoft Technologies Expertise:
- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and related tools.
- Provide guidance on best practices and tools to optimize the development process.
Team Empowerment:
- Empower the team to become self-organizing and cross-functional.
- Remove impediments to the team’s progress and help them overcome challenges.
Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the team’s efficiency and effectiveness.
Metrics and Reporting:
- Track and report key metrics related to the team’s performance.
- Use data to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum master’s in software development projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the Scrum framework and agile principles.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and related tools.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant field is required.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience as a Scrum Master.
