Role Summary

The Sr. QA Analyst – Manual Testing, is a hands-on role within the company. This person is responsible for the entire software development life cycle for applications being developed in the company.

Mode: Work from Office

Shift: 1pm to 10pm.

Experience: 5+ years

Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Associate VP of Application Development and is based in Pune, India.

• Manually test Web applications as well as desktop applications.
• Write test cases and test Scenarios.
• Work closely with Product Owner and Business team for requirement understanding and drafting down user stories in Jira.
• Follow QA Activities. Help team to follow QA process stringently.
• Prepare SRS, Review Sessions with Client, team review, review Task. Help Product owner to create user stories as well.
• Communicate with client for reviews, UAT, Issues.
• Plan, design, and execute tests.
• Analyze user stories and use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Detect, report and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Apply agile quality engineering principles throughout the agile product lifecycle
• Provide support and documentation as needed
• Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing
• Should possess the skills to handle pressure and challenging deadline
• Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
• Work on core database structures and designs. Ability to write SQL queries and scripts for testing.
• Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
• Playwright automation experience/knowledge using Python / JavaScript / TypeScript (Nice to Have)

Qualifications & Experience

• This job requires attentions to detail and the ability to multitask, excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant field is required
• In-depth knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, procedures in SQL Server 2008 (or later)
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
• APIs Testing knowledge or experience would be added advantage.
• Advanced level of expertise in Database testing with excellent PL SQL skills
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Self-Motivated Preferred Skills,
• Experience testing Waterfall / Agile Development Projects
