Position: Software Engineer

Location: Baner, Pune

Mode: Work from Office

Work timings:  11am to 8pm

The Software Engineer is a hands-on role within the company.  This person is responsible for the entire software development life cycle for applications being developed in the company.

Responsibilities:        

This position reports to the Associate VP of Application Development and is based in Pune, India.

• Design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software applications
• Demonstrates understanding of departmental procedures, programming standards, and all pertinent training materials
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate in a team setting
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project and ensure the highest quality code
• Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, code quality automation and support continuous integration process.

• Review and debug code
• Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
• Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
• Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance.
• Work on core database structures and designs
• Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness

Qualifications:

This job requires attentions to detail and the ability to multitask, excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of programming experience.
• .NET 8 or above
• Entity Framework Core 8 or above
• proficient in LINQ
• NET MVC and Web APIs + Postman
• SQL: 2 years’ experience would be added advantage
• CQRS using MediatR
• Distributed Caching using Redis
• Event Driven Architecture using Kafka
• Podman/Docker
• Kubernetes
• ELK – ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana
• SOLID design principle
• Design Patterns
• Proficient in Object Oriented Programming
• Automated Testing – Unit, Integration, Stress/Load, Performance etc
